About Me
My journey to women’s nutrition and lactation started with a desire to learn more about health and how I could help others. I found that nutrition played a large role in lifelong health and I pursued a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Central Missouri. I started my career as a Registered Dietitian, 14 years ago, counseling moms about maternal and child nutrition and breastfeeding. I saw there was a need to give my moms advanced lactation help and so I pursued IBCLC training. I’ve been an IBCLC for over 10 years and find it so rewarding to help moms meet both their nutrition and breastfeeding goals.
I’m passionate about supporting other women through all phases of life. I love empowering women to: listen and to trust their bodies, to care for and nourish themselves as well as their families. It is a pleasure helping other women and I am so grateful for a career where I can support and lift others up.
